Mission

Did you know that...

Early detection of breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer can find cancer when it is most treatable – or before it starts. Screening has helped lower the U.S. cervical cancer death rate by more than 50% in the last 30 years. Across the nation, mammograms prevent 12,000 deaths each year.

If breast cancer is found early, there are more treatment options and a better chance of survival. Women whose breast cancer is detected at an early stage have a 93% or higher survival rate in the first five year.
